Summary A young man committed suicide after killing a bride during a marriage ceremony in Multan.
A marriage ceremony turned into tragedy when the bride, Mariyam, was shot dead by one of her relatives Abdur Rahim when she was sitting on the dais on the day of her wedding.According to detatils, the marriage of Mariyam of village Jhok Lashkar near Multan was fixed with Munir. On the day of wedding Mariyam was sitting on dais when Abdur Rahim killed her and then ended his life by shooting himself.The sources informed that Rahim had also proposed to marry Mariyam but her parents refused his proposal as he belonged to a poor family and fixed their daughter’s marriage with Munir.Police have shifted the body of Abdur Rahim to Nishtar Hospital for autopsy while the heirs of Maritam refused to hand over her body to police.
