Summary Police have arrested a man who used to extract gunpowder from mortar bombs.
About 2 kg gunpowder and 40 empty shells also have been recovered from his custody.According to sources, police raided at Nazir Khanwali Street of Khyali Gate and arrested the accused Naseer Ahmad. The accused had hidden 40 empty shells in a water tank.The accused said that he used to take these shells from Karachi as scrape and put up them for sale after extracting their gunpowder.A joint investigation team has been formed for further inquiry.
