The doctors and paramedical staff at DHQ Hospital staged a protest rally and blocked Hospital RoadThe protesters chanted slogans in favour of their demands and later staged-a sit in near the Medical Superintendent Office.Addressing the demonstrators, Dr Ashiq Hussain, president Pakistan Medical Association Baltistan Zone, said that promotions and other privileges were their basic right like all other public sector employees.The protesters threatened to close the emergency services if their demands would not be accepted.
