Summary Nurses Peshawar protested against police crackdown against nurses in Karachi.
On the call of District Nurses Association, the nurses in Peshawar took out a protest rally in Lady Reading Hospital from 8am to 10am on Saturday to express solidarity with the Karachi nurses against police torture.The nurses of different hospitals including Khyber Teaching Hospital, Hayat Medical Complex and Lady Reading Hospital staged a protest rally and condemned torture of police on nurses in Karachi.Speaking on this occasion, District Nurses Association president Farha Jameel said that nurses across the country are united and raising voice for our demands is our basic right.She demanded that he the government should take action to solve their problems including raise in salaries and service structure.
