According to details, two persons were killed when an over-speeding truck hit a motorcycle on Sooraj Kund Road in Multan. The truck driver managed to escape from the scene after the accident.The angry residents carrying the dead bodies staged a protest and blocked the road, resulting in long queues of vehicles on the road. The protesters resorted to stone pelting when police tried to reopen the road for traffic and broke wind screens of many vehicles.Later, a heavy contingent of police reached the sight and shifted the dead bodies to the Nishtar Hospital for autopsy.
