Summary All Pakistan Oil Tankers Owners Association protested against non-payment of due fares.
A large number of organization spokespersons and drivers gathered at Punjab Chowrangi and staged a sit-in against breach of contract. They also torched tyres and blocked roads Punjab Colony Road and others linking roads.Protestors were of the view that the OGRA had increased fares of oil tankers by 45% but payment was being done according to old schedule.The commissioner has offered the protestors for dialogue. After this, demonstrators ended their strike.
