Summary Two dacoits were killed in police encounter in Johar Town while four managed to escape.
According to SP Cantt, Shoaib Khurram, a car was intercepted during check after an incident of robbery in Green Town area of Lahore. Six persons traveling in the car opened fire at the police party. Police returned the fire as a result two dacoits were killed on the spot while four others managed to escape.Police have shifted the bodies to mortuary while raids are being conducted to arrest their accomplices. Police also took into custody the car used by dacoits. According to initial reports, the car was snatched by dacoits from Sabza Zar area a couple of days ago.
