According to the eye-witnesses, a fire broke out at a godown in Banaras Chowk area of Karachi during night between Wednesday and Thursday, destroying shoe-making material stored at the place.The fire brigade reached the site but their work was hindered as the fire fighting vehicles could not enter the narrow streets. However, the fire was brought under control after an hectic effort of one hours.
