Summary Sindh IG Mushtaq Shah said that if extortionists are funded, they would demand more from citizens.
While talking to the media, he expressed these views after he had offered funeral prayer of police employee Muhammad Yaqoob killed in an encounter in the areas of business Road.He said that police officers were giving sacrifices for restoration of peace and tranquility in the metropolis.Replying to a query regarding incidents of extortion, he said that if citizens give amount, it is equal to encouragement to the extortionists who have nothing to do with the rights of people; rather their mission is only to collect money in the name of so-called fund raising.
