Summary Both leagues have decided to forge alliance for the next elections.
PML-Z chief Ijazul Haq called on Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif, the younger brother of Nawaz Sharif, on Thursday and both considered merger of all factions of the Muslim League.Both leaders agreed to form electoral alliance for their respective parties and convince the remaining factions to consider merger.Ijazul Haq already has held a few meetings with Nawaz and Shahbaz. PML-N is also in touch with the Likeminded group.
