Summary Train drivers have started hunger strike while the passengers are facing trouble due to protest.
Train drivers are demanding promotions and facilities according to 2010 pay scale and mileage allowance.After failure of dialogues between Train Drivers Association and Managing Director Pakistan Railways, the drivers had given hunger strike call for today.The dialogues were held in railway headquarter Lahore. The General Manager Railways sought some time but driver leaders refused to give more time.Train drivers were demanding promotions and facilities according to 2010 pay scale and mileage allowance.
