LHC seeks reply from Federation over petroleum price

Chief Justice Lahore Court Sheikh Azmat Saeed started inquiry into the case when the counsel for the petitioner said that writ petition regarding petroleum price was under hearing in the court.Despite this, the government committed unconstitutional step by increasing petroleum price and imposed undue and unbearable burden on masses. The petitioner further said that rise in petroleum prices has also caused expensiveness.The court while accepting petition for hearing has sought an explanation from the Federal Government and Ministry for Petroleum.
