Summary Secretary Election Commission of Pakistan Ishtiaq Ahmad Khan has decided to resign.
Talking to the media, Khan said that the police failed to provide security to polling staff and not registered a case against Waheeda Shah in time.He stated that he had sent his resignation to the Chief Election Commissioner on Thursday.
