Summary President Zardari has signed the 20th Amendment.
With presidential ratification, 28 suspended members of the assemblies have got legal cover.The 20th Amendment was passed by the National Assembly with a consensus. In the Senate, two JI senators cast dissenting votes.The Amend also deals with the procedure to appoint interim government in order to ensure transparency in elections.
