AKORA KHATTAK (Dunya News) - Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said Pakistan’s problems can only be resolved through dialogue and negotiations.

Fazlur Rehman visited the family of the late Professor Mahmood-ul-Haq Haqqani in Akora Khattak and offered condolences on his death. Haqqani was the brother of the late Maulana Sami-ul-Haq.

Speaking to the media, the JUI-F chief said the government should keep the doors of dialogue open to all parties and encourage them to return to the Constitution and resolve issues within its framework.

He said a balance among state institutions was necessary and that a constructive, conducive and trust-based environment should be created for negotiations.

Fazlur Rehman added that the country’s current problems should be addressed through dialogue rather than confrontation, and all parties needed to play their part in achieving this objective.
