Summary LHC has accepted a petition for hearing regarding detention of Brigadier Ali Khan.
Justice Ijaz Ahmad of Rawalpindi Bench of Lahore High Court accepted the plea for hearing.The petition was filed by Advocate Colonel (r) Inam-ur-Rahim on behalf of Brig Ali Khan’s wife.The petitioner took the stance before the court that her husband has been kept under solitary confinement and intense cold since 2011 while he was taken for angiography without permission of his family.The petitioner also prayed to the court to grant permission of meeting with Brig Ali Khan.The court accepted the petition for formal hearing and sought reply from the Ministry of Defence on March 1.
