RAJANPUR (Dunya News) – At least nine passengers were killed and 36 others, including women and children, injured when a passenger bus collided with a road divider and overturned near Bangla Hidayat in Rajanpur on the Indus Highway.
According to rescue officials, the bus was travelling from Karachi to Dera Ghazi Khan when the accident occurred.
Rescue 1122 said emergency teams rushed to the scene after receiving information about the crash and launched operations to recover the bodies of the deceased and evacuate the injured.
The injured passengers were shifted to hospitals for medical treatment, while those who sustained minor injuries received first aid at the scene.
