Summary IG Punjab directed to submit report of two people's killing during dacoity in Lahore.
One day back, a grandfather and his granddaughter was murdered with a sharp weapon in Garden Town area of Lahore.According to police, unknown assaulters killed 60-year-old ex-public servant Muhammad Arshad and his 4-year-old granddaughter Khadija were killed with stabs of a sharp weapon. The house maid Shumaila also received injuries during the incident.DIG (Operations) said that anything to say about the double murder will be before time but it is clear that this is a dacoity not a murder plot. However, further progress in the case will be possible when injured maid would be able to give statement.
