Summary SC has ordered arrest of police bigwigs who took remand of accused without court permission.

The derelict cops also produced the accused in courts with a delay of three or more days after arrests.Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry conducted hearing of the case. Home Secretary, IG, DIG Investigation and SSP were also present.During hearing of the case, Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said that if the prosecution had rendered its service in a proper way, the law and order situation would not have worsened to such extent. Whatsoever is said, nobody would be let to do wrong things, the CJP remarked.The Chief Justice said that police party is bound to present challan within 15 days at every cost.He said that bungles and blunders are committed by the police and the prosecution but the courts are being held responsible for wrong judgments.He said some opportunists and corrupt officers have made our performance equal to zero.The court also ordered the prosecutor general to produce challan within three days.
