KARACHI (Dunya News) - International travellers will not be allowed to travel without a vaccination certificate issued by the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) from September 14, according to the Airport Health Department.

In a notification, the department directed Umrah pilgrims to obtain their NADRA vaccination cards before departure.

The notification said the Federal Government Civil Dispensary is the only designated centre for vaccinating international travellers.

Airlines have also been directed to ensure that Umrah pilgrims possess valid vaccination certificates before boarding their flights.

Passengers who receive vaccination at the airport have been instructed to arrive at least six hours before their scheduled departure.

According to the Airport Health Department, vaccination and online registration for international travellers will be carried out at the international departure area of the airport.

The new requirement will come into effect from September 14.
