According to rescue sources, three people, including two underage boys, drowned while bathing in the sea near the Hawks Bay-Manora Road.
Rescue teams launched an operation to recover the victims and retrieved the body of one child from the sea.
The identity of the deceased boy has not yet been established. Two other victims, including one boy, were rescued from the water in a semi-conscious condition.
Rescue officials said one of those rescued was identified as nine-year-old Haider Abbas. The affected individuals were shifted to a hospital for medical treatment.
