QUETTA (Dunya News) – Security forces have killed two terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in the Washuk area of Balochistan, according to security sources.
The operation was carried out in the Washuk Palantak area as part of ongoing efforts against what the sources described as militants linked to Fitna al-Hindustan.
The two terrorists killed in the operation were allegedly involved in attacks on the Mashkel Police Station and a customs house.
The sources said the militants’ vehicle was also destroyed during the operation. A significant quantity of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the deceased militants.
Security sources said the recovered arms and ammunition were allegedly intended for use in targeted killings and other militant activities against local Baloch residents.
Security forces will continue operations in Balochistan until the threat posed by the militants is eliminated, the sources said.
