In a message posted on social media platform X, the former prime minister said he was deeply saddened by the loss of 14 innocent children in the tragic incident.
Nawaz Sharif expressed solidarity with the grieving parents and prayed for patience and strength for the bereaved families.
He urged the government to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident and immediately determine those responsible. He also called for strict action against anyone found negligent.
The PML-N leader stressed that effective measures must be taken to prevent such tragic incidents from occurring again in the future.
