Summary Rain is expected in upper parts of the country during next 24 hours.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, rain is expected in some areas of upper Punjab, upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during next 24 hours while snowfall is expected in mountain areas.However, weather will remain cold and dry in most parts of the country. Maximum 42 millimeter rain was recorded in Pattan while maximum 1ft snowfall was recorded in Kalam.Temperature recorded in different cities was: Parachinar -5C, Kalam and Mirkhani -4C, Hunza and Gopis -3C, Gilgit and Murree 2C, Quetta 5C, Islamabad 6C, Lahore and Peshawar 9C, Multan 10C and Karachi 19C.
