LAHORE (Dunya News) – All nine Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISEs) in Punjab on Thursday announced the results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Part II (Matric) First Annual Examinations 2026.
The results were declared simultaneously by the BISEs of Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi, Sahiwal, and Sargodha.
Students can check their results for class 10 by visiting the official websites of the respective boards or through SMS service.
The Lahore board has introduced the BISE Lahore AI Chatbot, an innovative digital initiative designed to enhance student services through artificial intelligence.
Students appearing in the SSC First Annual Examination 2026 can now access their examination results instantly by visiting chatbot.biselahore.com and entering their 6-digit Roll Number, the board said in a statement.
“This initiative reflects BISE Lahore's commitment to digital transformation and excellence in public service by providing students with modern, efficient, and accessible educational services,” it said.
Lahore Board
According to the Lahore Board spokesperson, the success rate remained above 64%. A total of 282,308 candidates appeared in the examinations, out of which 182,186 candidates passed.
Rawalpindi
A total of 120,411 candidates appeared in the Rawalpindi Board examinations, out of which 73,829 were declared successful, with an overall pass percentage of 61.31%.
The candidates included 58,692 male students and 61,719 female students.
A total of 30,512 male students and 43,317 female students passed the examination. The pass percentage among male students was 51.99%, while female students recorded a success rate of 70.18%.
Multan
According to the Matric results of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Multan, a total of 133,019 students appeared in the examinations, while 96,638 students passed. The overall pass percentage remained at 65.72%.
Bahawalpur
A total of 96,245 candidates appeared in the Matric annual examinations conducted by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Bahawalpur, out of which 63,012 candidates were declared successful. The pass percentage stood at 65.47%.
Abdul Haseeb, son of Muhammad Javed, from Government Abbasia Higher Secondary School secured the first position in the board by obtaining 1,186 marks.
Meanwhile, Muzammil Bilal, son of Muhammad Bilal, secured the second position with 1,184 marks.
Javeria Fatima from Umm-ul-Qura Public Girls High School and Iman Fatima Malik from Government Girls Higher Secondary School Model Town jointly secured the third position by scoring 1,183 marks each.
