US govt doesn't endorse Balochistan bill: Hoagland

Summary US diplomat in Pakistan said American government does not endorse resolution on Balochistan.

In an exclusive interview with state TV, the acting US ambassador Richard Hoaglandmade it clear that America fully respects Pakistans sovereignty and territorial integrity.The ambassador said that the resolution holders could only get support of two out of 435 members in the House of Representative. There is a lot of difference between parliamentary and presidential systems of government, he said.While referring to past record, he said that more than 4,000 resolutions and bills were tabled in the Senate but only 90 could be approved.He said that the US respects the solidarity and stability of Pakistan, adding that Balochistan is an crucial issue but not integral part of the US foreign policy.
