Summary CM Punjab expressed resentment over the resolution presented in US Congress regarding Balochistan.
In a statement here today, the Chief Minister warned those who prepared the resolution that Pakistan should not be considered a state of America rather it is a sovereign and an independent country.He said that explanatory statement by American Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding this resolution is not sufficient. The Chief Minister said that this resolution, based on prejudice and malafide has salted the hearts of Pakistanis who are already hurt by drone attacks.He said that problems of Balochistan and Balochis are the problems of Pakistan and we will not allow any county to challenge our sovereignty under the garb of these problems.He said that this resolution has been tabled in the enmity of Pakistan rather any sympathy with Balochistan.Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that on what grounds American officials talk about human rights who supported unconditionally dictator Pervaiz Musharraf who killed great Baloch leader Abkar Bugti and the innocent students in Lal Masjid.He questioned why those adventuring against Pakistan under the garb of Balochistan not condemned the martyrdoms of thousands of peoples and open violation of human rights in Kashmir and Palestine.
