Summary Foreign Minister on Saturday took a strong exception to Balochistan bill in US Congress.
Hina Rabbani Khar said though it was an isolated move by a few individuals, it was contrary to the principles of UN Charter and international law.The Foreign Minister, in a statement, said that the bill was also against the very fundamentals of the long-standing Pakistan-US relations.She said the National Assembly had already denounced the US congressional debate on Balochistan, terming this irresponsible and unfriendly move as an effort to trigger mistrust among peoples of both the countries.This sort of resolution that reeks of a particular mindset will not get support from the majority of the US congress which is in favor of amicable relations with Pakistan, the Foreign Minister said.--APP
