Summary PML-Q and ANP delegations separately called on Afghan President Hamid Karzai in Islamabad.
PMLQ leaders Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain and Mushahid Hussain Syed called on the Afghan President in Islamabad.Talking to media after the meeting, Mushahid Hussain Syed said that the foreign policy should not be formed on the basis of NOC.He said that Afghan and Pakistan governments should also be engaged in talks with the Taliban. He said that holding of trilateral summit in Pakistan proves that the decisions will not be made in Washington or Berlin.Chaudhry Shujat Hussain said that the country’s sovereignty should not be compromised and the policies in favour of the country should be followed instead of rece4iving others’ dictation.Meanwhile, ANP leaders Haji Adeel, Afrasiyab Khatak and Zahid Khan and PPP Sherpao’s chief Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao also called on President Hamid Karzai.Haji Adeel of ANP said that violation of borders is problem of both Pakistan and Afghanistan and both the countries should jointly work to eliminate problem.The Afghan President invited Pakistan’s political parties to play their role in Afghan reconciliation process.
