MANILA (Dunya News) - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Wednesday met European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas on the sidelines of the 33rd ASEAN Regional Forum in Manila.
According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation under the Pakistan-European Union Strategic Engagement framework.
The meeting focused on the regional security environment, the Iran-US tensions and other issues of mutual interest.
Dar and Kallas agreed that dialogue remains the only viable path to resolving tensions between Iran and the United States, stressing that diplomacy offers the most effective and sustainable route to peace and regional stability.
