Summary Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that PML-N's record of development in Azad Jammu and Kashmir reflects its longstanding commitment to the welfare and progress of the region.

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - Senior Punjab Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb on Friday said that Kashmir is Pakistan's jugular vein and a land of martyrs and warriors, adding that the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) have always demonstrated an unbreakable bond with Pakistan.

Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that PML-N's record of development in Azad Jammu and Kashmir reflects its longstanding commitment to the welfare and progress of the region.

Addressing an election rally in Rawalpindi ahead of the AJK elections, she said the people of Azad Kashmir have witnessed the development carried out during former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's tenure, including the construction of roads, hospitals, schools and other public welfare projects.

She said the 13th Constitutional Amendment, enacted during Nawaz Sharif's government, empowered the AJK Legislative Assembly by devolving greater administrative and legislative authority, ensuring that decisions concerning Kashmir are made within the region.

She said the government, under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, is currently implementing development projects worth over 500 billion rupees in Azad Kashmir, spanning infrastructure, healthcare and education.

Calling on voters to support the PML-N in the upcoming AJK elections, Marriyum Aurangzeb expressed confidence that the people of Azad Kashmir would once again endorse the party's leadership and vision for development.
