Summary About 166 candidates have submitted their nomination papers for 54 seats on last day.

As per details, four candidates from Islamabad submitted their nomination papers, 16 from FATA, 25 from Punjab, 32 from Sindh, 38 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 51 from Balochistan.Moreover, 93 candidates are for 33 general seats while 29 women candidates for 8 seats.There are 26 candidates for nine seats of religious scholars and technocrats while 18 candidates for four seats of minorities.So far as the general seats in Punjab are concerned, 8 candidates from the PML-N, four from the PPP and two from the PML-Q have appeared. The PML-N and the PPP have introduced their 2-2 women candidates for two seats.Kamran Michael is candidate of minority from the PML-N.After submitting his nominating papers, Barrister Aitzaz, while talking to the media, said that he wished that all the institutions should work within their jurisdiction without having a clash and contradiction with each other.A report said that candidates on Sindh and Punjab seats are expected to be elected unopposed.
