Summary Young doctors announced closing OPDs of Lahore hospitals against victimization of senior doctors.
In the general body meeting, Young Doctors Association has decided to close Out Patient Departments (OPDs) of all the hospitals of Lahore in protest over discriminate action against senior doctors of Punjab Institute of Cardiology, Dunya News learnt.Young doctors also decided to close OPD of PIC in this regard.Earlier, YDA Punjab held a protest demonstration and blocked the Jail Road for several hours on Tuesday after observing strike in the hospitals.The young doctors protested against the provincial government for allegedly victimising senior doctors of PIC by removing them from their positions without proving charges against them after death from fatal reaction to medicines among heart patients.
