Summary The Election Commission has given right to overseas Pakistanis to cast vote in general elections.
During a meeting held under the chair of Election Commission Secretary Ishtiaq Ahmed Khan, it has been decided that overseas Pakistanis will be allowed to cast their vote in the upcoming general elections.The landmark decision would enable 3.7 million Pakistanis expats to exercise their right of vote to elect the parliamentarians.The voting mechanism would be decided later in another meeting.
