Summary Lahore High Court has withdrawn its four-day workweek notification. Friday and Saturday are restored as working days, with courts and judicial offices resuming the previous schedule.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore High Court (LHC) has withdrawn its earlier notification introducing a four-day working week, restoring the previous schedule for courts and judicial offices.

A new notification was issued by Registrar Raja Qamar Zaman following approval from LHC Chief Justice Aalia Neelum.

Under the revised decision, both Friday and Saturday will now be regular working days for the high court as well as district courts.

According to the notification, court proceedings will continue under the previous routine, with hearings taking place on both days. Judicial staff working in court offices will also resume duties on Fridays and Saturdays.

The latest order cancels an earlier notification issued on March 11, which had declared Friday and Saturday as holidays under a national savings policy framework.
