RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - A 69-year-old man was killed after being hit by a train near Mareer Chowk area of Rawalpindi on Wednesday night, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the elderly man was walking along the railway track when he was hit by a train, as a result he died on the spot.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead body to a nearby hospital. Police sources said that the deceased was identified as Javaid. Later, police have handed over the dead body to its heirs after completion of legal formalities.
