QUETTA (Dunya News) - Political leaders in Balochistan strongly condemned the Quetta blast and reaffirmed their resolve to unite against terrorist elements linked with “Fitna al-Hindustan,” pledging to bring those responsible to a severe and decisive end.

Political and government figures described the targeting of unarmed civilians, women, and children as an inhumane and cowardly act. They termed the incident an attack on humanity and called for collective action against terrorism.

Member of the Balochistan Assembly Meena Majeed Baloch said the attack on passengers, women, and children travelling home for Eid holidays was an assault on humanity itself. She stated that the killing of innocent women and children had exposed the malicious intentions of India and its proxy terrorist groups before the world.

Member of the National Assembly Nawabzada Jamal Khan Raisani termed the attack on unarmed passengers an assault on humanity, Baloch traditions, and national values, adding that such elements deserved no leniency.

Senator Dinesh Kumar said the people of Balochistan were standing like a fortified wall against terrorist elements. He stated that those shedding the blood of innocent civilians had no place on this land and added that the entire nation stood with the security forces against terrorism.

Provincial Adviser for Women Development Dr Rubaba Khan Buledi described the targeting of innocent and unarmed civilians as a cowardly and hateful act. She also expressed heartfelt sympathy with the families of the victims and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.

Member of the National Assembly Mian Khan Bugti strongly condemned the Quetta terrorist blast and expressed deep sorrow over the loss of innocent lives.

Balochistan Minister for Planning and Development Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi said women and children were among the innocent civilians targeted in the attack on the Jaffar Express. He stated that such terrorists had neither religion nor nationality and carried out such heinous attacks to please their foreign handlers.

The political leadership of Balochistan reiterated its commitment that the brave people of the province would continue standing shoulder to shoulder with security forces for peace, law and order, and national security.
