QUETTTA (Dunya News) – Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi arrived in Quetta following the Chaman Phatak blast, where an initial investigation report was presented.

A special meeting was held under the chairmanship of Mohsin Naqvi and Mir Sarfraz Bugti. During the meeting, the Inspector General of Balochistan Police presented a preliminary report on the explosion near Quetta’s Chaman Phatak area.

The participants strongly condemned the cowardly attack and expressed heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyrs.

Mohsin Naqvi said the federal government stands with the Balochistan government in this difficult time. He said the attackers demonstrated extreme brutality by targeting innocent people, adding that the sacrifices of the martyrs would always be remembered.

Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti thanked Mohsin Naqvi for supporting Balochistan during every difficult moment. He said the government is indebted to the blood of the martyrs and vowed to bring the terrorists responsible to their logical end.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti also said the families of the martyrs would not be left alone and that he was personally overseeing the best possible medical treatment for the injured.

Senior officers of the Balochistan Police and other law enforcement agencies also attended the meeting.
