ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - A large majority of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) members (MNAs) are in favour of rejoining the National Assembly standing committees, Dunya News reported on Friday.
The PTI leadership and members have come face to face over the issue of returning to parliamentary committees. The members are of the view that the government can only be held accountable by participating in the standing committees.
The members further stated that by staying out of the standing committees, PTI cannot become part of the House business.
However, according to the party leadership, the decision regarding rejoining the National Assembly standing committees will be made by the PTI founder Imran Khan.
