(Web Desk) - A total of 60 flights were cancelled and 14 others faced significant delays across Pakistan today (Thursday) due to operational issues.

In Pakistan, multiple domestic and international routes were affected, with major cancellations reported from key airports including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and other cities.

From Karachi, 24 flights were cancelled, including services to Jeddah, Doha, Dubai, Sharjah, Madinah, Najaf, and Abu Dhabi. From Lahore, 19 flights were cancelled on routes including Dammam, Dubai, Jeddah, and Kuwait.

In Islamabad, six flights were cancelled, including those operating to Jeddah, Riyadh, Tehran, and Dubai. Additional cancellations were also reported from Sialkot, Multan, Peshawar, and Faisalabad.

Several flights also experienced extended delays. A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight from Jeddah to Karachi (PK-862) was delayed by around four and a half hours. Meanwhile, flights PK-302 and PK-303 between Karachi and Lahore were delayed by approximately four hours.

Authorities have not yet issued a detailed explanation for the widespread disruption, while passengers at multiple airports faced inconvenience due to the sudden cancellations and delays.
