ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar on Friday said that the world today acknowledges that India supports terrorism globally.
Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad in connection with the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, Attaullah Tarar said Pakistan's victory on the diplomatic, narrative-building, and military fronts during Marka-e-Haq will be remembered forever. He said that success in Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos and Marka-e-Haq have given Pakistan a new stature.
He said Pakistan is among the countries that fight terrorism, while India is among those that promote it.
The Information Minister said India launched a false-flag operation in May last year, to which Pakistan responded firmly and demanded an independent, fair and transparent inquiry.
Recalling Pakistan's swift and effective response to Indian aggression, he said the war strategy of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir ensured the country's defence. Attaullah Tarar added that Pakistani forces shot down eight Indian aircraft.
