Summary KP CM Sohail Afridi says PTI founder jailed without reason, vows reforms, youth skill programs, curriculum change, and zero tolerance for corruption in the province.

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has said that the founding leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is being kept in jail without any justification, adding that his ideology cannot be confined.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony of the “Senator of Excellence,” Sohail Afridi stated that the founding PTI leader’s eyesight has been affected up to 85 percent. He further said that he is not being allowed meetings with his legal team and family members.

The Chief Minister said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is working to translate the founder’s vision into practice, while spending on the public remains the top priority. He added that various steps are being taken to equip the youth of the province with skills.

He also stated that outdated curricula are being removed from educational institutions, and investment in youth remains the government’s mission.

Furthermore, Sohail Afridi said there is no space for corruption in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and officers have been directed that even if they make personal recommendations, those should not be accepted.
