Summary Punjab Govt has registered a fabricated case against Dunya News Chief Executive Mian Amir Mehmood.
Dunya News Bureau Chief Salman Ghani revealed that the case has been registered to keep Dunya News from reporting the truth. He said the FIR has been based on an accident that took place a month ago. He said investigation of that incident has been completed under the FIR that was registered after the incident. Salman said that it is for the first time in the history of Pakistan that two FIRs have been registered for one incident.Meanwhile, Azam Chaudhry, Secretary General Lahore Press Club, said that a fabricated case, invoking section 302, has been registered against Dunya News Chief Executive Mian Amir Mehmood in the Gulberg police station.
