KALAT (Dunya News) – At least four pedestrians sustained severe injuries in a hand grenade explosion in Kalat, a city in Balochistan province, on late Wednesday night.
According to details, some unidentified assailants, riding on a motorcycle, hurled a hand grenade on the road in Killi Pindrani area of Kalat and fled away. Four pedestrians were wounded in the hand grenade explosion.
Rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the injured to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital, Kalat.
Meanwhile, police and security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation. Police officials said that the nature of the explosion is being investigated, and efforts have begun to arrest the culprits behind the incident.
