Summary Investigation team has summoned owners of Isotab manufacturing company to Lahore.
DIG Zulfiqar Cheema has issued the directive to company owners to appear before investigation team by February 9.In the meantime, Efroze owners are expected to record their statements in the case relevant to the deaths of more than 100 cardiac patients caused by adulterated medicine ‘Isotab’ which was produced for Punjab Institute of Cardiology.According to sources, the court has already granted bail to the factory owners till February 12.Earlier, it was reported that the owners of Efroze Chemical Industries confessed that the batch of IsoTab provided to PIC was tainted with Pyrimethamine, an anti-malarial.
