LHC seeks reply over Governors disqualification

Justice Khalid Mehmood Khan of Lahore High Court (LHC) again sought reply from federal government on a petition seeking disqualification of governor Punjab Latif Khosa.The petitioner Afaq Ahmad advocate had taken plea in his petition that governor Punjab was disposing off his personal matters by using public funds and thus causing loss to national exchequer, therefore, he be declared disqualified.Deputy Attorney General told the court that he be allowed time to file reply. The court issued notices again to federal government in connection with disqualification of governor Punjab and sought reply on February, 22.The hearing of the case has been adjourned till February, 22.
