Dr Asim Hussain and Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh have been made advisors to the Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani after being suspended as legislators by the Supreme Court on Monday.Dr Asim and Dr Hafeez were federal ministers for petroleum and finance respectively.Earlier, the Supreme Court suspended membership of 28 legislators elected in by-elections on bogus voters’ lists.The membership of these 28 parliamentarians will remain suspended till Parliamentary endorsement through 20th amendment.The government has issued the notification of appointment of both the advisors.
