Summary Prime Minister Sharif met Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal to discuss regional peace and stability.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday, highlighting the importance of peace and stability in the region.
Prince Faisal was welcomed at the Prime Minister’s House by Special Assistant on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, and National Security Advisor Lt. Gen. Asim Malik.
Earlier, Ishaq Dar held a separate discussion with the Saudi minister. According to a statement from Pakistan’s Foreign Office, both sides discussed the evolving regional and global situation in detail. They emphasised dialogue, diplomacy, and joint efforts to promote security and stability in the region.
The meeting comes amid high-level talks hosted by Pakistan, involving foreign ministers from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Turkey. Officials said the discussions are part of ongoing efforts to reduce regional tensions and foster cooperation.
