Summary PM Gilani said that peaceful settlement of Kashmir dispute is necessary of prosperity of the region.
Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has said that a peaceful settlement of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in accordance with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people was a must to ensure peace and prosperity in the region.In a statement, he said Pakistan believes that the United Nations promise to the Kashmiris as contained in the relevant resolutions must be fulfilled.He said the Government and the people of Pakistan will continue to extend their full moral, political and diplomatic support to the Kashmiris for the realization of their fundamental rights and legitimate aspirations.The Prime Minister said the Government and the people of Pakistan join their Kashmiri brothers and sisters in solemnly observing the Kashmir Solidarity Day.
