Kashmir body seeks meaningful dialogue with India

Parliamentary committee on Kashmir while expressing concerns over MFN status to India, asked the ministries of foreign affairs and commerce to keep the Kashmir issue on priority during negotiations with India on trade and confidence-building measures.Meeting of the Kashmir Committee was held at the Parliament House under the chairmanship of Maulana Fazlur Rehman which was attended by Commerce Minister Makhdoom Amin and APHC leaders.During session, the Hurriyat leaders said that MFN status should not be awarded to India until resolution of Kashmir issue.Reportedly, Federal Commerce Minister Makhdoom Amin Faheem left the meeting room while session was underway.
